International Students of Erasmus+ Programme Visited Bulgarian Sights

The University Center for Students and Lecturers Mobility (UCSLM) organized a day trip to the cave Prohodna, town of Etropole and the Monastery of Etropole for students studying on the Erasmus+ Programme at the UNWE. The objective of the trip in which took part 24 international students was to make them know about the natural and historical sights of our country.

The programme began with the visit in the cave Prohodna known also as “God`s Eyes”, one of the famous caves in the karst region near the village of Karlukovo, Lukovit municipality.

In the town of Etropole which has more than 2500 years of history the students visited the Historical Museum, the Clock Tower built in 1710 and the Arnaudova House built over the era of Bulgarian Revival.

Students visited also the Monastery of Etrople and the located near it waterfall Varovitets which they turned into “a film set” (in the picture below).
