UNWE Was Awarded A Special Prize for The Greatest Contribution to The Economy

UNWE - the largest university on the Balkans – was awarded the only special prize for the university having the greatest contribution to the economy in 2016 in the standardized ranking for Complex Assessment of the rating system for universities in Bulgaria 2016. The prize was awarded to the Rector Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev at an official ceremony organized by the Bulgarian newspaper 24 Hours under the auspices of the President Rosen Plevneliev (in the pictures below).

At the ceremony attended the President Rosen Plevneliev, Meglena Kuneva, Minister of Education and Science, Krasen Kralev, Minister of Youth and Sport, Yordanka Fandakova, Mayors of Sofia, Ivan Totev, Mayor of Plovdiv, etc.

22 universities were awarded by the newspaper 24 Hours for their excellent ranking in the rating system for universities in Bulgaria. The newspaper has organized the rating since 2004 and the rating system has been adopted by the Ministry of Education and Science since 2011.
