The Eleventh Scientific Conference of the Department of Economics, titled “Economic Challenges 2025: Sustainability, Globalization or Protectionism”, provides an opportunity for dialogue among representatives from various fields of economic science. The event is organized by the Department of Economics at the University of National and World Economy, which will be held on November 21, 2025, at UNWE in Sofia, Bulgaria, both in person and online via MS Teams. The working languages of the conference are Bulgarian and English. Interested participants must submit an abstract by November 10, 2025, and will be notified of acceptance by November 15. The full paper and participation fee of 75 BGN are due by November 20. Each author or co-author may submit one paper, and presentations will be limited to 10 minutes using PowerPoint. Accepted papers meeting the requirements may be published in indexed UNWE journals, including Economic Alternatives, Research Papers, and the UNWE Yearbook.
