Opportunities of Electronic State Exam for The Speciality Accountancy, EQD of Bachelor

The Accountancy and Analysis Department at Finance and Accountancy Faculty organized a Round-Table Conference on the Opportunities of Electronic Exam for the Speciality Accountancy, EQD of Bachelor. The event was held in the Small Conference Hall with the participation of lecturers from the Department. Moderator of the Forum was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teodora Rupska.

Prof. Snezhana Basheva, Head of the Accountancy and Analysis Department and Dean of the Finance and Accountancy Faculty said to attendees: “We have always been very responsible to our students and we have created all the prerequisites for implementing the main objective of higher education – the preparation of highly qualified professionals. This objective in the Educational and Qualification Degree of Bachelor can be implemented when the education provides a widely profiled preparation or specialized professional preparation in professional fields or specialities”.

Prof. Basheva also outlined that the state exam for EQD of Bachelor in Accountancy had been an exclusively responsible procedure of national importance and it had been the reason for the Managing Body of the Department to organize that Forum. Its objective is to discuss thoroughly and profoundly the issue of incorporating the electronic state exam and to define the way of its implementation.

Prof. Basheva presented the statement by Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Ivan Dushanov in which had been analyzed in details the positive and negative points of both ways for implementation of state exam. In his statement Prof. Dushanov has emphasized on the fact that this exam “is the state stamp for the quality of educational and qualification product made by the university – the Bachelor from the UNWE”. The objective of the state exam as Prof. Dushanov has outlined “is to verify how and how much had been implemented the task of forming the highly qualified Bachelor prepared to occupy the relevant position of chartered professional in the accounting system in compliance with the employment relations”, was cited the opinion of Prof. Dushanov by Prof. Basheva.
