The Rector Was A Guest at The Traditional Fair of The National Trade and Banking High School

The Rector of UNWE Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev was a guest at the XVII traditional fair of the National Trade and Banking High School (NTBHS) which was held at the Inter Expo Center on the project for Integrative Practical Education. The elite high school is the largest economic school in the country where are educated more than 1250 pupils in eight specialities.

During the opening of the event

The Rector addressed to the high school students with the words: “Dear future students of UNWE!”. In his speech to pupils, teachers and guests he emphasized on the developing relations between the UNWE and NTBHS – the largest economic university and the largest economic high school in the country.

Prof. Stattev defined the cooperation between both institutions as a model of real interaction between the secondary and higher education and announced the desire of the university to turn the HTBHS into a base high school for UNWE.

The Director of NTBHS Emilia Ivanova expressed her thankfulness to the UNWE Managing Body for the opportunities provided in the comprehensive partnership with the high school. She announced that in the current academic year due to the national competitions organized by the Association of Economic Schools in Bulgaria 73 pupils from the NTBHS had been already admitted at the UNWE - an excellent start for their professional development.

Later Prof. Stattev had the opportunity to acquaint with the activity of academic banks, companies and associations of the high school (in the picture below).

In the fair took part 56 academic enterprises. The event was held on the occasion of the 103^rd Anniversary of the high school.
