A Meeting Entitled “Being 30 Years Old: A Top Manager … or Mother”

Meeting with students organized by the Inter-University Center for Career Development was held in the Small Conference Hall. The topic of the lecture “about the hidden watches and juggling with life's priorities in the lives of contemporary women, about the education, profession, maternity and love” or “Being 30 Years Old: a Top Manager … or Mother” provoked mostly the interest of women but there was also men`s presence.

In the Small Conference Hall

Atanas Dimitrov, Career Consultant at the Inter-University Center for Career Development opened the meeting and presented the lecturers Martin Borislavov, Executive Director of Mother in Time Foundation and Dr. Meftune Shefketova, leading expert in reproductive medicine.

The life is a choice – do your choice in time!, reminded the important phrase of life Martin Borislavov. By illustrations, diagrams and various data Dr. Shefketova spoke about the maternity and why women give birth later, “whether 40 is the new 20” in the reproductive age, when the biological watch ticks, etc.”

During the lecture

The participants filled in an inquiry and shared their opinion about the lecture. As an illustration on the topic during the lecture a baby in the hands of its mother was crying from time to time in the hall (in the picture below).
