Medals for Our Athletes in The National Universiade

A lot of medals won our young athletes in the National Universiade in Plovdiv. Our sprint men got first to the final line in the 4x400-meters relay race. The gold was won by Martin Iliev, Daniel Yakimov, Atanas Petrov and Lyudmil Tsonev.

Our team got also the silver medals in the relay running race of 4x100-meters. Our girls fought successfully for the second place in the relay running of 4x100-meters. Excellent in the running race were Nikol Stamboliiska, Sofia Stanoeva, Plamena Petkova and Victoria Karakova. The female athletes of UNWE won the second place in the relay race of 4x400-meters.

Sofia Stefanova took part in 5 race disciplines.

Plamena Petkova won three medals in Plovdiv.

Nikol Stamboliiska and Victoria Karakova are running forward the final line in the 100-meters race.
