International Scientific Practical Conference on The Current Issues of Rights in The Legislation of Russia and Bulgaria

International Scientific Practical Conference on the Current Issues of Rights in the Legislation of Russia and Bulgaria was implemented through a live video connection by the UNWE and the North-West Institute of Management at Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between both institutions in January 2014.

The Forum was implemented through a live video connection.

The Conference was opened by Prof. Dr. Hristina Balabanova, Dean of the Law Faculty of UNWE and Sergey Tsiplyaev, Dean of the Law Faculty of RANEPA. Prof. Balabanova greeted the participants in the Forum and outlined the importance of the issues in the context of the possible constitutional amendments in our country concerning to certain extent the civil rights.

Moderators of the Conference were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rayna Koycheva from the Private Legal Studies Department of UNWE and Assoc. Prof. Olga Shubina from the Civil and Labour Law Department of the Russian Institute.

“Secularism and constitutionalism in the cultural paradigms of modern times” and “the experience of the four Bulgarian constitutions” was the topic of the report by Assist. Victor Ivanov from the Public Legal Studies Department. Reports were also delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rayna Koycheva, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tanya Yosifova, Head of the Private Legal Studies Department, Chief Assist. Diana Marinova from the Private Legal Studies Department.
