Prof. Sonya Dokova Is Elected for Member of The Regional Policy Council to The Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works

Prof. Sonya Dokova, Director of the Center for Regional Researches and Head of the Regional Development  Department is elected as a member of the Regional Policy Council to the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works.

The Council is an expert consultative unit for solving the issues in the field of regional policy and it is a form of partnership between the central governmental powers, local authorities and non-governmental organizations. Members of the Council are governors, mayors, experts from the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria, ministries, the presidency, employers and business organizations, representatives of non-governmental sector, etc.

Prof. Sonya Dokova is one of the two representatives of academic circles in the Regional Policy Council.
