UNWE Will Cooperate with Greek Universities

The Rector Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev and Prof. Dr. Michalis Psalidopoulos discussed the opportunities for academic cooperation between the UNWE and the Athens University. The famous Greek scientist and economist participated in the 9th Conference of the South Eastern Monetary History Network on the Exploring South Eastern Europe in a Historical and Comparative Perspective organized by the support of the UNWE, Bulgarian National Bank and the Bulgarian Development Bank.

In the conversation took part Dr. Yorgos Stassinopoulos from the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Athens who also participated in the Forum. The Rector discussed with him the future interaction between the UNWE and Panteion University.

In the meeting attended Prof. D.Sc. (Econ.) Nikolay Nenovsky from the UNWE who is a lecturer also at the University of Amiens, France and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pencho Penchev, Vice Dean in International Cooperation of the General Economics Faculty.

Prof. Psalidopoulos is an expert in economic history, lecturer at the Athens University and the Fletcher School of Tufts University, USA. He has been a guest-professor at the King`s College London, UK, Princeton University, USA, etc. His scientific experience is related to the Athens Academy of Science, German Institute for International and Security Affairs, Foundation for Research and Education to the Commercial Bank of Greece, etc.

Prof. Stattev gave as a present to Prof. Psalidopoulos a crystal cibe having carved in it the monument of Prof. Stephan Bobchev -  founder and first Rector of UNWE.
