The University Central Archive Was Also Opened

The Rector of UNWE Prof. Borislav Borissov has cut the ribbon and officially opened the Central Archive of UNWE. The archive papers totally collected at one place occupied an area consisting of a reading-room and four specially equipped archive storehouses. At the opening ceremony attended the whole academic and administrative managing body of the university.

The activity of the Central Archive Sector to the University Library is automated, it works by the Archimedes software product and all the archive units are entered electronically, explained Tanya Tzenova, Director of the Library. Among the papers and archive units approved for report, registration and storage are the Main Books of the Education Activity Direction, the personal files of students (for the period of 1966 to 1989), Diplomas of Secondary Education (from 1945 to 1991), the alphabetical index books of students enrolled at UNWE for the period of 1920 to 1993, some archive papers of the university Directions and Faculties, some unique publications printed 100 years ago. The Central Archive Sector of UNWE was established in 2008.

The university managing body also visited the new Test Center of UNWE – the first of its king in our country opened only several days ago.

The Academic Council of UNWE held the last meeting of its mandate.
