Lecturer from The UNWE Acts Again As A Chairwoman at The National Olympiad in Spanish Language

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daniela Koh-Kozhuravova, Head of the Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics Department once again took the lead of the prestigious Commission on the Implementation of the National Olympiad in Spanish Language. In the Commission participated specialists in the Spanish language from the leading universities in the country and also a teacher from Miguel de Cervantes Spanish Language High School.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Koh-Kozhuharova greeted the participants at the opening of the gala concert dedicated to the Olympiad. The event was also attended by parents, teachers, school principals, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Embassy of Spain in our country, the Regional Inspectorate, etc. The Chairwoman of the National Commission outlined that after the precise selection at municipal and regional level 128 young specialists in Spanish language representing 10 cities and 11 schools in the country had reached to the national round.

Our lecturer reminded to the Olympians that they have a serious motive to prove that they are among the best specialists in Spanish language at national level. She pointed out that the National Olympiad in Spanish Language was a traditional measure of the educational quality in the language of Cervantes and Gabriel Garcia Marquez and traditionally the winners in their 12th grade and scholars from 8th to 11th grade had been awarded at that Forum.

During the Olympiad

In the present year the Olympiad was held at St. Paisii Hilendarski High School in the town of Dupnitsa.
