For a fourth consecutive year Enterprise Magazine held its annual Forum at the UNWE. The event was designed for Bachelors and Masters of Science intending to find successful realization in the labour market. The Forum was implemented jointly with the university Business Club, CISCO Entrepreneur Institute and the Students Council.

As guest-lecturers in the Forum participated Ivan Ivanov, Director Executive of LG Bulgaria, Svetlan Stanoev, founder and managing partner of CISCO Entrepreneur Institute, Angel Ivanov from the HP Global Delivery Center and Vasil Strelkov, Head of the Control and Planning Division of Aurubis Bulgaria. The presenter and representative of Enterprise Magazine was Nadia Gogova.

During the Forum

The lecturers introduced the companies and their personal professional experience, gave valuable advices to the students pointing out what kind of skills could help them in their career growth. The main focus in the discussion was on the interaction between the business and the university and the necessity of synchronizing the academic knowledge with the practical experience.

Questions from the audience at the hall

“Do not expect but ask for. Search and ask for what is due to you – there`s nothing to shame”, said to the students Ivan Ivanov. The education is not a temporary project but the success is due to the permanent upgrading and to the idea that man should never keep pace with the modern trends and events, outlined Ivanov.

Vasil Strelkov said clearly that the problem of the large companies with traditions had been the stiff thinking and inefficiency so they had needed young people with ideas. At such companies there is always a stage for changes and optimization, pointed out Strelkov.

Angel Ivanov from the HP Global Delivery Center told the students about his career transformation from a technological specialist and manager into a person responsible of the business processes in a team of more than 1000 people.
