The Rector of UNWE Was Awarded for His Support of Disadvantaged People

Prof. D.Sc. (Econ.) Statty Stattev, Rector of UNWE was honored by an award of merit for human rights and global human social achievements. The special plaque was awarded to him by the Global Disability Movement in recognition of his exemplary support of human social rights and appreciation of the numerous campaigns and support of disadvantaged people.

The plaque is signed by both Co-Chairwomen of the Global Disability Movement Dr. Donna Steiger, H.Ph.D. and Dr. Diana Indjov, Ph.D.

The UNWE follows the world standards of accessible environment for disability people. In this relation there have been elaborated a special project and methodology for work with undergraduates and Doctoral students having different forms and degrees of disability. At present one deaf-and-dumb Doctoral student is educated on this project.
