Internal Championship on Swimming by The Participation of More Than 150 Students

On April, 12^th, 2013 at the Academician swimming pool was held an Internal Championship on Swimming. The event was devoted to the 160^th Anniversary from the birth of Prof. Stephan Bobchev, founder and first Rector of the university as well as to the 90^th Anniversary from the establishment of the first Students Sports Club in Bulgaria which was opened by the UNWE.

Our university is the only one in the country which organizes and conducts an Internal Championship on Swimming. Only at the UNWE annually is started a swimming tournament by the numerous participation of more than 150 students from all the courses and specialities of the university. The competition programme includes all the swimming styles as for the first year the tournament finished by a swimming baton 4x50 meters in free style.
