UNWE at The First Place among Universities on A Project for Student Internships in The State Administration
On January, 11th, 2013 at the Sheraton Hotel (Sredets Hall) was held the Closing Conference of the project on the Creating the Capacity for the Future - Conduction of Student Internships in the State Administration realized during the period September, 2011 – January, 2013. Beneficiary was the Ministers Council administration and final beneficiaries – the universities in Bulgaria. The project was implemented by the financial support of Administrative Capacity Operational Programme, co-funded by the European Social Fund. At the Conference were presented the results of the project. The campaign on its implementation has provided 2433 applicants for the internships carried out in 2012 all over the country. As a result of good organization the University of National and World Economy provided 25 % of all students – applicants for internship. The best presented state administrations and universities – participants in the project were announced and certificates to the winners were bestowed.
At the first place among universities was deservedly ranked the UNWE, at the second place – St. Climent University of Sofia, at the third place – the New Bulgarian University.
At the first place among central administrations was ranked the Ministers Council administration. The first place among the ministries was awarded to the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the second place – to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Science.
