The application deadline for Erasmus+ Programme for studying abroad for the academic year 2024-2025 has not yet closed. I would like to remind you that the deadline is 25 February 2024", said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamelia Assenova, Director of the University Centre for Students and Lecturers Mobility /UCSLM/ and Institutional Coordinator for Erasmus+ Programme at the UNWE. "Bachelor`s and Master`s degree students at UNWE, full-time and distance education as well as Doctoral students, full-time and part-time education, could continue their studies in the same speciality at the universities in Europe. The tuition is free as financial grants are available to cover the living costs which vary depending on the country where the student study.

“The period of study abroad is minimum 3 up to maximum 12 months for each educational qualification degree", explained Assoc. Prof. Assenova.

Applicants are required to have an average grade of completed university education Good /4.00/. For students studying for Bachelor's degree the average grade up to the time of application to the programme is taken into account and for the newly enrolled students in Master's degree the average grade from the Bachelor's degree and the grade of the Bachelor`s thesis (state examination) are taken into account. For Doctoral students the average grade from the entrance examination is taken into account.

Another mandatory requirement for applicants is to have proficiency in the language of the exchange and to present a Certifcate of minimum B2 language level.

Required documents for the application include:

  • Application form filled in electronically 
  • Document confirming the average grade of university education since the beginning of studies s up to the time of application;
  • Certificate of proficiency in language /minimum B2 level/ or diploma with minimum 600 educational hours.
