The children of the lecturers and employees of UNWE welcomed Santa Claus in Maxima Aula. 70 children at the age of 1 to 11 years received gifts and a photo with the good old man. The Christmas programme was entirely created by the people working at the University.

"Welcome to the University of National and World Economy which is Mom and Dad's or Grandma and Grandpa's workplace", welcomed the children the Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar. He wished bright Christmas holidays, successful and fruitful New Year and encouraged the little children to call Santa Claus together.

Bells annoinced the arrival of the white-bearded old man Santa Clause - Georgy Filipov, IT specialist from the Information Technologies Directorate, and the Snow White - Anna-Maria Markova, actress and Doctoral student at our university.

Assistants of Santa Clause were Blagovesta, Nevena and Kristina from the Student Council. Kiril Genchev from the Information Technologies Directorate played the role of an elf.

The white-bearded old man gave the adults big smiles and brought to the little children joy with gifts.

Nadezhda Kirancheva and Harry Angelov greeted the special guest and the audience with their performances.

There were also solo improvisations.

The celebration continued with a lively disco party. The DJs for the party were Daniel Sokolovsky /DJ Dani Di/ and Alexander Yordanov /DJ Karuzo/ from the Technical Training Resources Division who brought the Christmas mood with animation on the high-tech screen in Maxima Aula donated by Kaufland Bulgaria.

On his departure Santa Clause promised to to come again next year and bring presents to the parents as well.
