The First Business Festival BrandGalaxy Fest 2023 Was Focused on the Brand Bulgaria

BrandGalaxy Fest 2023 is the first business event in Bulgaria dedicated to the cross-border collaborations between Bulgaria, Europe, Asia and Africa. It was organized by BrandGalaxy Fest in partnership with TV1 Bulgaria and the UNWE which also hosted the event.

The UNWE robot welcomed the guests of BrandGalaxy Fest 2023 - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anna Dzhumalieva, Chairman of the Commission for Protection from Discrimination, Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, Rector of UNWE and Maxim Behar, Founder and CEO of the leading PR company M3 Communications Group

"It is no coincidence that this business Forum aiming to impose Brand Bulgaria, is organized at the UNWE. For its 103 years of existence our university has become a "brand", a "brand" of good education which gives a guarantee for a successful career. Our alumni include 10 Prime Ministers, over 100 ministers, many heads of large Bulgarian and international institutions. We constantly develop and enrich the education of our students, collaborate with many schools, employers and universities around the world. UNWE already work to create Brand Bulgaria together with 4 other universities and 2 ministries so we are happy to host this business event", said the Rector of UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov who opened the Forum.

The initiator of the event Maria Vasileva and the presenter Harry Anichkin explained the focus of the Festival - to examine topics in areas such as artificial intelligence /AL/, cybersecurity, Web 3.0, meta universe, blockchain, crypto currencies, post-quantum data protection, communications and communication models, cross-border collaborations between Bulgaria, Europe, Asia and Africa.

They introduced the honorary guest at the Festival Mrs. Ulrike Trebesius, a politician from the German Parliament, and from 2014 to 2019 a Member of the European Parliament, who has actively participated in the legislative process on blockchain and cryptocurrency within the European Union.

"It is a significantly important Forum because we all live in a new world where each of us is now a brand. Everyone is a strange mix of publisher /owns media - has a Facebook account, Instagram.../, editor /selects content/ and reporter /creates news/. And in the hands of all of us is the creation of Brand Bulgaria which consists of many sub-brands, all of us", said the PR expert Maxim Behar who is also President of the World Communication Forum Association based in Davos, Switzerland.

The President of the Bulgarian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Lachezar Dinev, a graduate of UNWE, emphasized on the necessary steps to be taken to make Bulgaria a bridge between Europe, Asia and Africa. How to successfully promote Bulgaria to be interesting not only for tourists but also for the business. He explained the actions taken by the Bulgarian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry to establish longterm and fruitful trade relations in all sectors of the economy between Bulgaria and China, to promote cultural exchange and to support the exchange of students between the two countries.

"We now live in the age of the digital revolution. The artificial intelligence has entered almost all spheres of our lives and the ways of protecting human rights relatively change", said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anna Dzhumalieva, Chair of the Commission for Protection against Discrimination. "AL is a companion in our lives in the digital age, new conflicts, new disputes will be reproduced which will give birth to a new need for protection. But the future is for humans and AL to cooperate for the benefit of humans", concluded Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anna Dzhumalieva.

Nikolay Neroev, founder and chief visionary of an artificial intelligence company called RoboBizz, presented the robot he created that won first place in the category Best Innovation for 2020 at the prestigious e-commerce innovation competition in Germany, part of the E-Commerce Berlin Expo 2020. He also presented the origins of AL back in the 1950s, its development, specifics and future prospects.

For the first time it was bestowed the award Brand of Bulgaria on behalf of show The Brands of Bulgaria on TV1 Bulgaria and Brand Galaxy Fest 2023.

Its first winner was the company VIDENOV FURNITURE.

"Today is an exclusively special day and not just for BrandGalaxy Fest. Today Bulgaria is proud. We give the award to one of the most significant brands of Bulgaria. A brand that has gone through all economic and political processes, has proven itself over time as a sustainable and stable BULGARIAN BRAND with a contribution to the development of an entire industry", argued the host of the show The Brands of Bulgaria and organizer of the Fest Maria Vasileva.
