Pupils from Three High Schools in Vratsa Visited the University

Pupils from the 10th, 11th and 12th grade of three High Schools in Vratsa - John Exarch Profiled Language High School, Acad. Ivan Tsenov High School and Kozma Trichkov High School visited the UNWE. They toured the University and were able to feel the academic atmosphere.

The high school pupils toured the newest "K" building of UNWE, the Inter-University Center for Career Development, the Startup Hub, Large Conference Hall, Maxima Aula, the historical collection of the University and other key places.

"I am delighted to join your visit to the University. I hope that the tour you have taken has shown you much of the facilities available - the technical facilities we have, the halls, the dining and recreation areas. We motivate our students in different ways with different types of scholarships that can cover semester fees and dormitory bills. We are the only university that did not increase the semester fees in the current year", said Prof. Dr. Tsvetana Stoyanova and talked about the high level of digitalization of the University: "Our e-Student File can be uploaded as an app on your phone. You can use it as a bank card, ISIC card and student ID. You have the ability to pay with it, check your grades through the app on your phone, pay your rent to your dormitory and take advantage of our 21 online services all with just a few clicks".

"I am delighted to see you and welcome you to the University. Now is the time when you think where to go and what to study. The education in Bulgaria is in no way worse than what it is abroad. The high percentage of UNWE students who have found professional realization should show you that the University gives you many opportunities. Your studies can go hand in hand with your career development", these were the words the Chairman of the Student Council Angel Stoykov welcomed the pupils and added that the organization entrusted to him is the best friend of the students!

Maria Bozhkova from the Rector's Office Directorate explained to the secondary school pupils the application deadlines, the different specialties, how and where to submit their documents.

Ilian Chabukliysky, Chairman of CSDIU, told about the conditions in the dormitories, how many blocks there are, what walking distance they are from the University and the Director of the ICCD Atanas Dimitrov shared about the career opportunities and internships at the UNWE, the Start-up Hub and how the students idea for a business could be funded and implemented.
