Summer School for Ph.D Students in Law

On 9 and 10 September 2021 on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of establishment of UNWE Law Faculty the first Summer School for Ph.D students in Law was held in the Educational and Rehabilitational Facilities of UNWE in Ravda. The topic of the event was The Fair Dealing as a Norm and Principle of Lawful Behavior in the Modern Law - Genesis, Development, Problems and Prospects. Great interest in the Scientific Forum was shown by the Ph.D students as well as by the students who strive to follow the way of academic development in the future.

One of the major objectives of the Forum was to provide methodological assistance to Ph.D students in the process of preparation of their dissertation works and other publications. The topic of the Forum reflects in all law branches. It enabled the participants to successfully discover the points of contact with their scientific interests.

In their reports the lecturers Assoc. Prof. Dr. Valchin Daskalov, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Konstantin Tanev and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diana Marinova, Head of the Forum, showed the participants how to prepare a report on a certain scientific topic.

The initiative also contributes to the creation of a collective spirit which is especially valuable in the difficult times we live in.

"The UNWE Law Faculty has once again proved that it sets high standards in the preparation of Ph.D students and undergraduayes", said in his greeting to the Forum participants Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mihail Musov, Vice Rector for Research and International Affairs.

The promising beginning of the Ph.D School is another attestation for the quality of education at the Law Faculty. Turning it into a tradition would enrich to a great extent the legal education development at the UNWE.
