Students from the Industrial Business Department Visited the Central Office of VIVACOM

For a second consecutive year leading specialists from VIVACOM shared to students from the Industrial Business Department their experience and spoke about the tendencies in the company information protection.

Host for the event was again the Corporate Information Protection Directorate headed by Deyan Petkov. The lecture was focused on the regulations related to the personal data of individuals that should come into force in 2018. 

During the lecture

Georgy Sredkov, Manager of Information Security and an official responsible for the data protection at VIVACOM told about the essence, range, principles and requirements of the new European regulation.

Students also knew about the possibilities of the system for Data Loss Prevention at the telecommunication company.
