Prof. Dr. Borislav Borisov Was Awarded the Distinct Honorary Sign of the Economic and Social Council of the Republic of Bulgaria

During the Plenary Session of the Economic and Social Council (ESC) held on 9 October 2017 the Chairman of the Council Prof. Dr. Lalko Dulevsky awarded the distinct Honorary Sign of ESC to Prof. Dr. Borislav Borisov, Honorary Professor and Honorary Rector of the University of National and World Economy (UNWE). 

The award was conferred on Prof. Borislav Borisov for his overall contribution to the civil society development in the Republic of Bulgaria. As Chairman of the nationally recognized employers` organization he is one the founders of the Council and as Rector of UNWE he is the first Head of institution who has provided for the newly established Economic and Social Council the necessary working rooms, halls and offices in the building of UNWE so the Council has been given the opportunity to have official registration and begin its real activity. The seat of the Council and its activity was implemented in the building of UNWE till the end of 2003.

The members of ESC expressed their thankfulness to Prof. Borislav Borisov for his support and assistance to establish, build up and develop the Economic and Social Council of the Republic of Bulgaria.
