Memorandum of Cooperation between The UNWE and BCCI

The Rector of UNWE Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev and Tsvetan Simeonov, President of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between both institutions (in the picture below).

During the signing at the BCCI attended Assoc. Prof. Dr. Stela Raleva, Vice Rector for Education in the EQD of Master and Distance Learning, Prof. Dr. Valentin Goev, Vice Rector for Scientific Research Activity, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vladya Borisova, Head of the Creative Industries and Intellectual Property Department, Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Valentin Kisimov, Director of the Center for Computer Innovative Systems, Krasimir Dimitrov, Director of the Legal Service and Public Procurements Directorate.

In the document is written that the major priorities in the realization of cooperation are the modern preparation of highly educated and qualified professionals, formation of pragmatically oriented future managers and entrepreneurs, modern education of specialists in international business and the professional realization of specilaists in the sphere of trade.

The UNWE and the BCCI will partner in the elaboration of joint projects, realization of research and analyses of joint interest, expert and consulting mutual assistance, preparation and realization of internship programmes, organization and implementation of various forms of practical education, participation in official events and joint initiatives.

Coordinator for the implementation of the Memorandum from the UWNE is Assoc. Prof. Vladya Borisova and form the BCCI – Chief Assist. Dr. Vasil Todorov, Secretary General of the institution.

The BCCI is the only business structure which works for a long time on the issues of intellectual property. We will send students from the UNWE for internship in your institution, we will always be available for mutually beneficial cooperation and we will try to unite out expert activity also in other fields including the modernization of our academic programmes along with the continuous assistance by the BCCI, said Prof. Stattev.

I would like to thank to the Rector Prof. Stattev for he has encouraged us to make our relations official, outlined Mr. Simeonov. In our library there are still kept the Master`s theses of undergraduates and Doctoral students from the UNWE who had consulted the BCCI for the topics of their theses. The Memorandum will give an impetus to development in all spheres of our cooperation. We will give the results of our consultations with the business to the scientists from your university, said the President of BCCI.
