Project “iPro / iProfessional” –
RE: 540097-LLP-1-2013-1-BG-ERASMUS-EQR

The project focuses on a segment of higher and further education, namely Media and Arts Design Studies. It ensures closer interaction between:

  • the different suppliers of higher education - Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and

  • the business and particularly with the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector.

The strategy of the project is to enhance the performance of education systems and to facilitate the entry of young people to the labour market and to create conditions for new skills and jobs, as well as to improve labour market by adapting education and training       systems to provide skills and competencies in ICT sector.

The purposes of the project are:

  • to investigate the potentials for a closer collaboration between;

    • the world of the interactive media and arts design business and

    • the higher and further educational institutions for Media and Arts Design

  • to use a Curriculum model for education as a tool for investigation;

  • to establish a Pilot of the model for collaboration between HEIs and partners in 8 European countries.

The GOAL of the project is to build, test and then distribute a research based MODEL FRAMEWORK that will assist the Higher Education Institutions to match the curriculum of their students in (digital) Media and Arts Studies with the professional requirements of media and arts businesses.
