The 2019/2020 cooperation program between the Financial University and UNWE encourages faculty members and Ph.D. students of the two universities to publish their research papers in the following journals:

Review of Business and Economics Studies

Review of Business and Economics Studies (RoBES) is an editorially independent international academic journal published in British English with Russian abstracts. RoBES is a multidisciplinary journal committed to increasing the communication between the sub-disciplines within economic and business studies and bringing up-to-date information on current developments within the field.

RoBES cover a wide range of emerging topics of business and economics with a focus on advanced international finance, sustainability and emerging markets all over the world. It publishes original research papers, reviews of the discipline, theoretical and conceptual work, applied research, program descriptions, research in organization and the community, and curricular developments. The journal aims to search what is currently most cited and discussed topics in finance, economics, and management, select those topics that might be of interest in a current social context for decision-makers in business and government, and connect business and state authorities to academia by delivering deep qualitative insights, strongly reasoned with the rigorous quantitative methodology. A double-blind peer-review process is used for paper selection.

Economic Alternatives

The Economic Alternatives Journal (EAJ) is calling for high-quality submissions of original manuscripts on a variety of topics including:

  • Economic Theory
  • Applied Economics and Information Systems
  • Political Economy
  • Financial and Monetary Economics
  • Interdisciplinary Economics

The journal makes extra efforts towards maintaining a balance between theoretical and empirical work and aims to provide prompt and constructive reviews to the author(s). The Economic Alternatives journal is intended to be scholarly without relying too heavily on mathematical notation or mathematical insights. All papers are double-blind refereed. The journal is interested in papers with a special focus on Bulgaria and the Balkans.
