Three UNWE Graduates Are Ministers in the New Government under the Leadership of Rosen Zhelyazkov

Temenuzhka Petkova - Minister of Finance – has graduated from the UNWE, Master's degree in Accounting and Control. She has been an interim Deputy Minister of Finance in the government under the leadership of Prof. Georgy Bliznashky. She has also been Minister of Energy in the period 2014-2017 and 2017-2021.

Silvy Kirilov - Minister of Health - is D.Sc. of Medical Sciences. He has graduated from the Higher Medical Institute /Medical University – Sofia/, specialty Urology. He also holds a Master's degree in Health Economics from the UNWE, speciality Health Management.

Petar Dilov - Minister of Economy and Industry – has graduated from the UNWE and has completed a Master's degree in European Business and Finance in the UK.

In 2020 on the occasion of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of our university, the Rector Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov and Rosen Zhelyazkov, then in his capacity as Minister of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications, has validated a post stamp 100 Years of UNWE.
