The Law Faculty Dean Was Elected As Member of the ELFA Board

Assoc. Prof. D.Sc.(Law) Zhivko Draganov, Dean of the Law Faculty was elected as member of the ELFA (European Law Faculties Association) Board  during its Annual Conference held in April of the current year.

ELFA is established in 1995 in Leuven by more than 80 Law Faculties located in different universities across Europe. The organization today has more than 250 members from 49 countries. The UNWE Law Faculty has been a member of ELFA since 2008.

The European Law Faculties Association is an international forum for the discussion of legal topics related to the legal education, for coordination and exchange of ideas and good practices. Its mission is to represent and promote the interests of its members in the field of legal education and research vis-à-vis EU institutions, international organizations as well as associations of legal professionals. ELFA cooperates with similar organizations from the USA, South America, Australia, China, etc. Every year ELFA organizes its Annual Conference at which members are encouraged to participate in its plenary sessions, workshops and round tables. For supporting the research in the field of law it organizes its ELFA Award for the best Doctoral Thesis on European Law. In 2018 the ELFA organized the 1^st International meeting of Law Faculty Associations.
