The Department of Economics at the University of National and World Economy is pleased to invite you to participate in the seventh scientific conference on:

ECONOMIC CHALLENGES:

CRISIS, RECOVERY, SUSTAINABILITY

November 12, 2021

organized by the Department of Economics of UNWE

The aim of the conference is to provide an opportunity for exchange of ideas, opinions and analyzes on the economy of Bulgaria, other countries or regional communities, in a dynamic and changing environment, between scientists from different universities in the country and abroad. The practical and applied aspects of the conducted research can support the implementation of policies at micro and macro level, as well as the formation of recommendations for business practice.

The conference will be held online on the Microsoft Teams platform.

All participants are exempt from the fee and will receive a certificate certifying their performance. There are two opportunities for participation - with a report or a speech. The presented reports will be offered for publication in a collection, and selected papers will be offered for publication in the journal Scientific Papers of UNWE.

REQUIREMENTS FOR TECHNICAL DESIGN AND PRESENTATION OF REPORTS:

• Each author submits one report
• The online application and the summary of the report (up to one standard page) are submitted

at: www.unwe.bg/economics-conference_2021
• The report is sent in electronic form to: economicsconference_2021@unwe.bg
• Maximum volume: 10 pages, including formulas, tables, figures and references; line spacing - 1.5, Font: Times New Roman

• Page Setup: Top - 2.5; Bottom - 2.5; Left - 2.5; Right - 2.5; Paper Size - A4
• Title: Size: 14 pt; Font Style: Bold; Alignment: Centered; Effects: Capital letters
• Name and surname of the author (co-authors), academic position, scientific degree of the author (co-authors), department, university, email: Size: 12 pt; Font Style: Bold & Italic; Alignment: Centered (1 blank line follows)

• English title: Size: 14 pt; Font Style: Bold; Alignment: Centered; Effects: Capital

letters
• Name and surname of the author (co-authors) in Latin; academic position, scientific degree of author (co-authors), department, university in English; email: Size: 12 pt; Font Style: Bold & Italic; Alignment: Centered. (1 blank line follows).

• Summary (up to five lines) in Bulgarian, one blank line, summary in English, blank line: Size: 10 pt; Justified; Font Style: Italic

• Keywords in Bulgarian, on a new line of keywords in English (key words): Size 10 pt; Justified; Font Style: Italic (1 blank line follows)

• JEL classification field (JEL classification can be found at https://www.aeaweb.org/jel/guide/jel.php): Size 10 pt; Justified; Font Style: Italic (1 blank line follows)

• Main text: Size: 12 pt; Justified.
• Tables: Numbered with Arabic numerals above them, with a centered name, Font Style: Bold; (1 blank line is left above and below them)

• Figures: Numbered with Arabic numerals and centered name below them, Font Style: Bold; (1 blank line is left above and below them)

• References to other publications should be written in Harvard style
• Presentation of the conference report - PowerPoint presentation up to 12 minutes • Working languages ??- Bulgarian and English

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to publish the reports submitted by the authors of the conference and meeting the above requirements.
