The economic development challenges for Bulgaria, the regional countries, and the world as a whole are constantly changing and require a thorough understanding and analysis of the underlying processes and phenomena. The selected conference topics reflect the urgency and the significance of the problems that the country and the modern world face today. The following subjects have been chosen as the conference main topics:

Development
Welfare
Integration

The objects of the conference are, on one side, creating opportunities for exchange of ideas, opinions and analysis among scholars from different universities and countries on the economy of Bulgaria, other countries, and regional communities in a business environment that is dynamic and changing. On the other hand, the practical and applied aspects of the presented research may support the implementation of relevant macro and micro policies, as well as elicit recommendations with respect to the business practices and policies.
