In speciality Economics are prepared highly qualified professionals with theoretical knowledge and practical skills for accomplishment of microeconomic and macroeconomic analyses. It allows the graduates to solve various specific economic issues using their economic knowledge as well as at national level as also in the fields related to incorporation of our economy to the EU and the global economic structures.
In the third year of education are studied compulsory and eligible faculty academic disciplines: Microeconomic Theory and Analyses, Organizational Behavior, Business Strategies, Human Capital, Social Policy, Consumers Behavior, Industrial Organization and Prices, Business Economics, Theory of The Company, Macroeconomic Theory and Analyses, Bases of Econometrics, Commercial Law, Business Ethics, Company Culture, Economic Culture, Heuristic Methods, Business Communications, Project of Managerial and Information Systems.
In the fourth year of education are studied compulsory and eligible special academic disciplines: Behavioral Economics, Banking Affair, Company Investment, Management of The Company, Economics of The Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Economics of Development, Economics of Public Sector, Controlling, Company Competitiveness, The European Union Law, Innovations, International Strategic Management, Economy of Bulgaria, International Marketing.
The speciality graduates are able to work as: professionals at the economic organizations, state institutions, non-governmental organizations, in the field of investment, fiscal and monetary policy, the income policy, foreign currency-financial operations, elaborating of optimizing models, economic prognostication; lecturers at the universities and some other educational institutions, experts and managers at the research and consulting organizations, specialized agencies, financial and bank institutions, governmental, non-governmental and international economic organizations.
