ICAEW Accreditation

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales was formed in 1880 and currently is a world leading professional membership organization that promotes, develops and supports over 153,000 chartered accountants worldwide in 148 countries. The ICAEW ACA qualification is a highly-respected professional qualification that requires students to complete at least three years on-the-job training while passing 15 exams in total. The ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (ICAEW CFAB) is the practical business qualification for those interested in or working in business that consists of the Certificate Level exams of the ACA qualification.

The accreditation by the ICAEW provides UNWE students with up to 8 credits for prior learning of the ICAEW ACA qualification and with up to 5 credits for prior learning of the ICAEW CFAB.
