Lecturers from The UNWE Participated in The First Scientific Conference in Economic History in Bulgaria

At the Economic University of Varna was held the first Scientific Conference in Economic History in Bulgaria. The Forum was organized by the Center for Economic and Historical Research (CEHR) established a year ago by the lecturers from the Economic History Section to the Political Economy Department of UNWE, Economic University of Varna and D. Tsenov Economic Academy of Svishtov. The topic of the Conference was: Urban Economy in Bulgarian Lands over the Ages.

In the Conference took part lecturers and researchers from the UNWE, Economic University of Varna, St. Climent Ohridsky University of Sofia, St. St. Kiril and Metodii University of Veliko Tarnovo, D.Tsenov Economic Academy of Svishtov, Angel Kanchev University of Rousse, International Higher Business School of Botevgrad, Institute for History Studies and Institute for Balkan Studies and Center for Thracology at Bulgarian Academy of Science (BAS).

In the work of the Forum included also Doctors of Science and Doctoral students doing research in the field of history and urban economy from the Historical Museum of Kazanlak, regional historical museums of Silistra, Veliko Tarnovo and Gabrovo. There were delivered 27 reports which will be published in the first edition of collection entitled News of CEHR.
