Prof. Guichard commented on the relations between China and the rest of the world presenting in tabular form the comparative analysis between the Asian country and the USA during the period 2002 - 2007. He said that the removal of customs barriers had led to undervaluation of the yuan and it had produced an extreme imbalance of international trade. China refuses to revalue the yuan, Western trade deficit does not decrease and the crisis continues. According to the lecturer China had followed an aggressive strategy of global hegemony at the international market.
