The First Doctoral Thesis in Economic History in Bulgaria

A public defence of the first Doctoral thesis (Doctor of Science) in Bulgaria for the speciality Economic History was held at the university. It is worked out by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pencho Penchev, lecturer at the Political Economy Department, section Economic History. The thesis defence was implemented after the Department obtained the accreditation for Doctoral Programme in Economic History in 2015 for the first time in Bulgaria.

In Scientific Councils Hall

The thesis on the Economic Theory in the Historical Research of Economy is devoted to the solution of methodological issue – the relations and especially the impact of economic theory on the economic history.
