Lecturer from The UNWE Is Elected for A Member of ITS Bulgaria

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hristina Nikolova from the Economics of Transport Department, Deputy Director of the University Center for Sustainable Development was elected for a member of the Board of Bulgarian Association Intelligent Transport Systems - ITS Bulgaria whose member is also the Economics of Tourism Department. The election of Assoc. Prof. Nikolova in the Board of ITS Bulgaria will allow the UNWE to assist more actively the Association development as well as to participate more intensively in its activities.

The Bulgarian Association Intelligent Transport Systems - ITS Bulgaria is independent, non-profit, voluntary association applying the best European and world practices and solutions in the field of intelligent transport systems. The Association is a full member of the ITS Associations Network – active member of the ITS Association ERTICO and it works in service of the transport sector. The main objective of ITS Bulgaria is to ascertain an operability and continuity of services in the field of ITS as well as to accelerate the integration of technologies for creation of new services which will play more and more important role in our transport system.
