Presentation of The ACCA Qualifications

In the Small Conference Hall were presented the ACCA qualifications in the field of finance, accountancy and audit.  The guest-lecturers Mihaela Robu, Acting Head of the ACCA South-East Europe and Roxana Gheorghe, Business Relationship Manager of the ACCA South-East Europe explained to students the requirements of ACCA qualifications.

The ACCA is the largest professional organization, world professional body in the field of accountancy, pointed out Mihaela Robu. It provides certificates internationally recognized as a passport to find a job all over the world. The ACCA qualifications provides you knowledge and skills to become not only professional accountants but also being business partners, outlined the lecturer. They give you an exclusively competitive advantage when you apply for a job in private and public organizations in the country and abroad.

The level of education at your university is very high and it is a stable base for you to apply for the ACCA qualifications, said Roxana Gherghe. The ACCA has 600 000 members from 181 countries and 186 nationalities as well as 92 offices all over the world and every fifth person having the ACCA qualification occupies top positions, presented the organization the guest-lecturer.

Roxana Gheorghe also presented to students the opportunities and requirements of ACCA qualifications. She explained that there are two levels of education – fundamental and professional – both focused on the professional values and ethics in the field of accountancy. The practical orientation of the qualification is an advantage for graduates of accountancy and finance, pointed out the guest-lecturer.
