Forum Entitled Go Ahead! Create Your Own Company!

During a Conference entitled Go Ahead! Create Your Own Company! Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Kiril Todorov presented the experience and achievements in the entrepreneurship education of students at the UNWE. The Forum was organized by the French Institute in Bulgaria with the assistance of the French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Prof. Kiril Todorov is presenting his 25-years of experience and achievements in the entrepreneurship education of students at the UNWE.

The work of the Conference was focused on the obstacles in the development of entrepreneurship among young people. On the base of the French experience in the preparation and support of young student-entrepreneurs some ideas for progress of the activity in Bulgaria were suggested and discussed.

The participants in the Forum were especially interested in the Bulgarian experience and mostly the experience of UNWE which was presented by Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Kiril Todorov.

Prof. Jean-Pierre Boissin from the IAE of Grenoble, national coordinator of the Students Plan for Innovation, Transfer and Entrepreneurship and Dr. Hassania Sebti from the University of Strasbourg, Student Entrepreneurship Center ETENA / PEPITE shared the French experience in the entrepreneurship education emphasizing on the special statute of French students and the support given to them in starting their own business.

The work of the Conference was organized in the following two sessions: Preparation in the Field of Entrepreneurship and the Role of University / Supporting Entrepreneurs and the Role of Public and Private Sector.
