The New BNB Governor Has Graduated from The UNWE

Dimitar Radev, the new Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) is an alumnus of UNWE. He was elected by the National Assembly for a mandate of six years.

Dimitar Radev has graduated from the UNWE, speciality Finance and Credit. He has specialized abroad including at the Georgetown University in Washington.

The new Governor has 21 years career at the Ministry of Finance. He was a Deputy Minister in six governments after 1991. Since 14 years he has worked at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and he is also a Head of missions in the field of public finance governance in more than 20 countries from Europe, the Near East, Central Asia and Africa.
