Student from The UNWE Won The National Competition for Young Auditor 2015

The student from the UNWE Georgy Stoyanov won the first place in the National Competition for Young Auditor 2015. The event was organized for a fourth consecutive year by the University of Finance, Business and Entrepreneurship and in it took part 99 students from 10 universities. There was a largest number of participants from the UNWE.

The winner Georgy Stoyanov was given the right of one month internship at the co-organizing companies – HLB Bulgaria and Zaharinova & Partners Ltd. as well as a prize money of 2 000 BGN, a Plaque and Certificate of participation. The award was bestowed by Menda Stoyanova, alumnus of UNWE and Chairwoman of the Budget and Finance Committee at National Assembly (in the picture below).

A special reward was conferred also on Radost Racheva, student from the UNWE. It was bestowed by Assoc. Prof. Grigorii Vazov, Rector of the University of Finance, Business and Entrepreneurship.

The winners and the official guests at the event

The competition objective is to make popular the auditor profession as well as the role of audit in the business circles and society. Among the official guests at the event attended representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Bulgarian National Audit Office, National Insurance Institute, Public Financial Inspection Agency, the Commission for Public Oversight of Statutory Auditors, Institute of Certified Public Accountants, etc.
