Lecturer from the UNWE Managed An International Scientific Conference in Rome

On 18 and 19 April in Rome, Italy was held the Second International Conference on Advances in Information Processing and Communication Technology – IPCT 2015 managed by Prof. Dr. Dimitar Velev form the Information Technologies and Communications Department of UNWE.

The main topic of the Conference was further development of scientific research activity in such perspective fields of information technologies as the cloud technologies, large data, mobile calculations, etc. Not less important was also the topic about the promotion of exchanging ideas, experience and information between researchers and Doctoral students from all over the world.

The Forum was opened by Prof. Velev who delivered a special report on the Challenges of Large Data. In his exposure the lecturer explained the conception of large data, perspective fields of their application, software instruments of building up competitive decisions as well as the future aspects for short and long terms development.

During the Conference were presented 34 reports admitted to participation after a double review. The reports were arranged in four consecutive sections moderated by Prof. Velev.

During the discussions scientists from universities in Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico and many other countries addressed to Prof. Velev specific suggestions for joint future researches related to the topic of his plenary report.
