Lecturer from The UNWE Published A Book in Vienna

In the Austrian capital was published the book by Assoc. Prof. Dr Svetoslav Spasov entitled SEE*ing European Security Architecture. It is the fourth book by the author and the first edition in the English language. Assoc. Prof. Spasov who is an Ambassador and permanent representative of the Republic of Bulgaria to the United Nations, Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and to other international organizations in Vienna, is part of the team of National and Regional Security Department.

The book is published by the support of the Austrian Military Academy. In it are presented various patterns of cooperation related to the dynamics and development of a policy of common European security. The author focuses on the principles and mechanisms of the EU foreign policy and security policy based on the process of prevention and management of crises as well as on the establishment of strategic partnerships between different states and international organizations as NATO and OSCE.

Assoc. Prof. Spasov expresses his thankfulness to Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, Head of the National and Regional Security Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tsvetan Tsvetkov, Director of the Center for Strategic Researches in Defence and Security (CSRDS) at UNWE and to Assoc. Prof. Velizar Shalamanov for the support in writing out the book. The CSRDS is the first Bulgarian institution which has recently become a member of the OSCE Academic Network.
