Meeting of Students from The Speciality Economics of Tourism with The Managers of Hilton Sofia Hotel

Managers of Hilton Sofia hotel visited the third year students from the speciality Economics of Tourism at the university. The traditional meeting was organized by Prof. Dr. Tanya Parusheva, Scientific Secretary of the Economics of Tourism Department and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asya Pencheva, lecturer at the Department. The event was implemented in the frameworks of the Global Services Week held at the Hilton hotel chain all over the world.

The meeting was opened by Schtefan Raiter, General Manager of Hilton Sofia hotel. The specialists presented to students the history of the hotel chain, standards of service and sustainable policy of the company.

In the presentation were outlined the leadership positions of the hotel in providing a high quality of hotel and restaurant services in the global industry of hospitality. During the meeting were discussed the opportunities for conduction of academic practice and career development at the Hilton Sofia hotel. In the event participated Schtefan Raiter, General Manager of Hilton Sofia hotel, Kristina Bogomilova, Supervisor of the Human Resources Division, Stefan Mintov, Senior Administrator and Marieta Nikolova, specialist from the Events Division.
