Public Lecture by Madi Sharma, Famous International Entrepreneur

A public lecture on How to Develop the Potential of Young People at Universities and Prepare and Motivate Them for Successful Business and Career in International, Multicultural Environment gathered in the Ceremonial Hall the students from the speciality Entrepreneurship. A guest-lecturer was the international entrepreneur Madi Sharma. The meeting was organized by the Entrepreneurship Department and the Club of Young Innovative Entrepreneur at UNWE.

Prof. D.Sc. (Econ.) Kiril Todorov, Head of the Entrepreneurship Department presented Madi Sharma. She is a founder and governor of Madi Group and she manages an international group of companies. She is a winner of the United Kingdom award for the best employer and investor. She is also a member of the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels as well as a member of the political group for female entrepreneurship for Europe, the UK India Business Council (UKIBC), etc. Sharma is an international lecturer in the field of entrepreneurship, female entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility.

“If you want a successful career this lecture will help you”, focused the attention of students Madi Sharma. The mind is like a parachute so we need to open our minds and consciousness, appealed to the students of being active the guest-lecturer. She also gave some of her advices: “The first impression is very important for the entrepreneurs but you have only one chance for it” and “People make their assessment about the person before they know what he sells”. The most important recommendation to the future entrepreneurs formulated by Mrs. Sharma was that they should learn to accept criticism and implement their ideas with a professional passion.

“The failure is not an option. The only thing that could stop you is the fear from failure, said the famous entrepreneur. She advised the students to think “out of the box” and outlined that the business couldn`t survive without innovations and therefore there couldn`t have any places to work. “The opportunities are huge. You live in the age of internet and cheap journeys – use this chance”.
