Open Doors Day of The Speciality Economics of Tourism at The Radisson Blu Grand Hotel, Sofia

An Open Doors Day was held by the speciality Economics of Tourism at the ballroom of the Radisson Blu Grand Hotel, Sofia with the participation of the main hotel units, the academic members of the Economics of Tourism Department and 56 fourth year students. The purpose was students to meet with the managers of the company and to learn about the opportunities for development in the hotel business.

The meeting was opened by Kiril Radev, Front Office Manager of the hotel and Prof. Dr. Dimitar Tadarakov, Head of the Economics of Tourism Department who greeted the students. It was made a short presentation of the hotel chain part of which is the Radisson Blu Grand Hotel, Sofia. The services distinguishing the hotel from the other five stars objects in the capital were outlined.

During the presentations

The managers of the main hotel units acquainted the alumni of the university with the hotel divisions and presented the obligations of the employees. As representatives of the manager team of the Radisson Blu Grand Hotel, Sofia in the meeting participated also Tanya Valkova, Income Division Manager, Nadya Mihovska, Rooms Division Manager and Nedyalka Andreeva, Human Resources Division Manager.

Students had the opportunity to look at the rooms, restaurants and conference rooms in the territory of the hotel. They asked the hosts many questions, expressed their opinions and explored the possibilities for future career after completing their education.
