Donation by the Slovak Ambassador

His Excellency Marian Yakubotsi, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Bulgaria donated to our university the first three volumes from the book Enterprise and Entrepreneurship by the famous Prof. Dr. Stefan Kassay, member of the European Academy of Science and Art, scientist, entrepreneur and pedagogue, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the IDC Holding.

Prof. D.Sc. (Econ.) Statty Stattev, Rector of UNWE thanked the diplomatist and expressed his confidence that when the fourth and fifth volume of the book would have been published they would also become the UNWE possession.

The Rector announced that Prof. Kassay had committed to deliver a public lecture at our university next year and outlined that his works would be included in the studies on entrepreneurship.

In November the UNWE and the Economic University – Bratislava signed an Agreement of Cooperation during the official visit of Rosen Plevneliev in the Slovak Republic in the presence of the Presidents of both parties. It was also concluded an Agreement of Mobility of Students and Lecturers between both universities which was especially important, said Prof. Stattev.

The Slovak Republic and the Republic of Bulgaria have a similar way of development during the last decades, pointed out the Ambassador. He outlined that the mobility and exchange of experience in the academic sphere had been important for the future prosperity of both parties. H.E. Yakubotsi expressed his confidence that the mutual relations between the UNWE and the Economic University – Bratislava had been very important and appealed the students of our university to use the opportunity of working together with their colleagues from the Slovak Economic University on various European Union projects.
