Our university was a host of the first presentation for Bulgaria of the paid American Internship Programme for business skills development of young people - Requisite Business Skills Internship (RBS). The event was organized by the assistance of the Students Council and it was opened by its Chairman Antoan Shotarov. The students attending at the Large Conference Hall were acquainted with one untraditional and effective method of training.

The RBS Programme was presented by its inventor Jason Revid. According to him the European students to whom the Programme was oriented were distinguished by their purposefulness, high level of erudition and good command of English language. The Programme is started in 2010 offering valuable practical experience in USA. It is based on the innovative approach and helps developing the capability to determine, evaluate and self-control the emotional behavior, pointed out Jason Revid. According to the RBS Programme the development of the emotional intelligence coefficient predetermines the road of successful leader.

The internship involves students in the authentic business ambience which allows them to acquire valuable experience, higher qualification, quick professional progress, “to open the doors to managerial positions”. The RBS Programme achieves it by daily trainings in the essentials of emotional and social intelligence. The main skills which participants develop are self-confidence, leader qualities, capability to lead negotiations and presenting, relations management, specified Mr. Revid.
