Prof. D.Sc. (Econ.) Plamen Mishev Took The Lead of The National Science Fund of Bulgaria
Prof. D.Sc. (Econ.) Plamen Mishev is the new Chairman of the National Science Fund of Bulgaria. His election was voted in the first session of the Fund Executive Council on February, 19th.
By an Ordinance on the grounds of the Scientific Research Promotion Act Acad. Stephan Vodenicharov, Minister of the Education, Youth and Science, determined the nine members of the Fund Executive Council for 2 years term. Among them are Prof. Anna-Maria Totomanova (Deputy Chairwoman), Prof. Venelin Enchev, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vladimir Kostov, Prof. Ivan Mitov, Assoc. Prof. Margarit Ganev, Prof. Nikolai Nikolov, Prof. Svetla Ruseva and Alexandrina Dimitrova.
Prof. D.Sc. (Econ.) Plamen Mishev is Head of the Economics of Natural Resources Department. Since 2006 to 2011 he has been Vice-Rector on Scientific Research Activity of UNWE. Lately he was elected for a Chairman of the Agricultural Economists Union in Bulgaria.
He has more than 130 publications in Bulgarian and international scientific magazines, books, reports in symposia, conferences and seminars and 53 of them are in the English language (5 of them are referent editions and editions with impact factor).
