Working Meeting on the Project RESEARCH CULT

From 28 to 30 March 2022 the UNWE hosted a working meeting on the RESEARCH CULT project "Improving the Research Culture in Higher Education in Kosovo". The project is funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ KA2 Programme and coordinated by the IBC-M, Mitrovica, Kosovo.

The project has started in November 2019 and ends in May 2023. The project consortium consists of 13 partners from Kosovo and EU countries. In the meeting will take part representatives of partner universities in Kosovo - University of Pristina, University of Prizren, University of Peja, University of Jilan, University of Djakova, University of Applied Sciences Ferizaj, University of Mitrovica, IBC-M as well as two other partners from the EU – the University of Sapienza, Rome, and the University of Zagreb, Croatia.

The overall objective of the project is to support and contribute to the improvement of the research culture in higher education institutions in Kosovo by helping to improve existing policies and practices as well as to develop, adopt and introduce new regulations and mechanisms in the beneficiary institutions in Kosovo in terms of academic integrity, academic ethics, planning and organization of research.

In the frameworks of the working meeting it will be discussed the progress of universities in Kosovo in developing ethics and integrity mechanisms in science as well as the university regulations for their implementation.
