UNWE Lecturer Took Part in the Largest International Conference in the Field of Demography

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mariana Murgova from the Applied Informatics and Statistics Department took part in the International Population Conference 2021 organized by the International Union for Scientific Study of Population /IUSSP/ and held virtually over the period 5-10 December 2021 in Hyderabad, India.

It is the world’s largest and most significant scientific conference on population and demography, and it takes place once every four years. The Conference brings together leading researchers, policymakers and practitioners from a wide range of disciplines and from across the globe, to present and discuss the latest research on a broad range of contemporary population issues and on innovations to population data and methods.

The topic of the report delivered during the Conference by Assoc. Prof. Murgova is "Influence of COVID-19 on Family Planning: Case of Bulgaria".
